Frequently Asked Questions

Starting out
Before You Read the First Page
What I write for, who it suits, and how I would choose a place to begin.
Short, general pages about everyday habits around weight, skin, digestion, stress, focus and energy. I end each one with a single change you could try this week.
The one that has been nagging you the longest. A heavy stomach after dinner, a tired afternoon or a restless night are all fine starting points, and I did not write the pages to be read in order.
Yes. I never assume a gym membership, special equipment or a tidy routine. The habits I suggest are things like drinking water on waking or walking after a meal.
I explain why meal timing, protein and fibre matter and leave the choice of food to you. I have no banned ingredients and no lists for you to memorise.
Habits and results
Making a Change Stick
How long I find habits take, what I do when a week goes wrong, and when to see a doctor.
Usually a couple of weeks of repeating it at the same point in the day. In my experience sleep changes settle first, while food and weight habits take longer, and that is expected.
Nothing dramatic. I pick the habit up again on the next ordinary day without trying to make up for lost ground. Consistency over months matters far more than any single week.
It is possible, but I find one change at a time tends to last. Once the first one feels automatic, add the next. Stacking too much too early is the most common reason I see people stop.
No. I write general pages about daily habits. Anything painful, new, sudden or long running should be checked by a doctor or another qualified professional.
Stop it. I write these pages to make ordinary days easier, not harder. If a change leaves you dizzy, in pain or unusually tired, drop it and speak with a professional.
